The Embassy of Finland invites applications for the Local Cooperation Fund (LCF) programme in Egypt and Sudan. The next deadline for submitting the LCF applications is 15.9.2013.
The Embassy welcomes applications from local non-governmental organisations, science and technology communities, universities and other educational and research institutions, independent media, public corporations and cultural institutions (e.g. museums, libraries and theatres), chambers of commerce and commercial associations, organisations in the area of export and investment promotion, businesses, cooperatives, interest groups of companies and employees, foundations and religious communities, and other local non-profit civil society initiatives.
The Embassy’s Local Cooperation Fund has been operating since 2003. The purpose of the Fund is to support local civil society initiatives in Egypt and Sudan. The Embassy encourages qualified civil society actors to pay particular attention to sustainability of the project when preparing their application.
